Since my last post i have been regularly looking at mba.com for getting a date in last week of August, but still there are no appointments. If that continues for another week, i will take a date in the first week of September.
Now my current status in prep:-
OG11 - Done except AWA, but its been a while since i completed this.
Kaplan Premier program- I started my prep with this book and completed it.
Kaplan 800- Verbal completed - but again its been more than a month now.
OG verbal Review - Presently doing. Completed SC and CR , RC is left.
Now my goal for the coming weeks is :-
1) Complete OG verbal review in 1-2 days now.
2) Revise OG11
3) Revise Kaplan 800
4) Go through the standard noted like Spidey's notes.
5) Revise some concepts from Manhattan SC.
Tests already taken:-
All kaplan tests - Avg. 0f 650
Powerprep 1 - 730
Tests left:-
GMATPreps , Powerprep2 and Manhattan tests
Confusions:-
One major thing i am worried about is that i haven't touched the AWA section till now. I am planning to go through this sectionjust 15 days before the test and also i don't have much tie to devote to this section. People i need your opinions here that how much time is needed for this section and what all should i do in this section?
Also should i revise OG11 and Kaplan 800 right now or should i revise them when i am more near to the test.
I think the time which i have kept between now and my planned GMAT date - 1 month is sufficient for completing what all is left over. Actually i have kept a month because i will get very less time during the weekdays to prepare because of the hectic work schedule.
Should i do some more material or is the material sufficient? If no, then what can i do for the next 1 month.
Hope to see some very serious suggestions from you people who have already been through this prep. Your suggestion can really help me.

Take the GMAT Prep. Don't wait until the day before to do the GMAT Prep, because you already know that it's probably the most accurate, and if there's a bad score the day before, it'll just mess you up. Better to take now, and if you do badly, know that you still have time to recover.
I think you should actually just start doing full length tests to get used to it.
I was in the same situation last week. There are no appointments in Aug. I was a little panicked and booked date in sep 2nd week. But i started to search for appointments in mba.com atleast twice a day. Luckily i found one in the third week of aug which is exactly what i want. ($50 down the drain).
My suggestion is that you set a date for yourself and finish your preparations keeping that date in mind. I am damn sure that you will get an appointment atleast in the week that you are aiming for. The reason is that people start panicking before the exam and they either postpone or cancel their appointments.
Also, i agree with wannabe. Do your gmat prep in advance.

How much time you spend prepping for the AWA depends on a couple things:
1. Your ability to communicate in English (seems to be very good)
2. Your current involvement in writing analyses of arguments/topics in your job
I wrote one practice exam for each and did just fine.
Good going mate.. U've already finished almost all things that I suggest. ( I normally suggest Kaplan comprehensive/Premium , OG 11 and Kap800 in that order)
Yup, take GMATPrep now.. U'll know exactly where u stand.. And remember, once u hav taken both the tests, u can choose to reinstall it and u'll get almost a fresh set of Qs in next 2 tests :-)
AWA is not much of a problem.. But start giving some time to it..
Keep checking the dates daily. U'll surely get a date in August if u want that...

Hi, from my experience I would suggest that the practice material you have is more than enough.
You should just focus on TESTS...TESTS...TESTS..TESTS and more practice tests. Someone had adviced me the same and it really helped me get a good score. Spend the last 15 days just doing pratice tests.
